When I was at an artist showcase back in January of this year. I came across a group of young up and coming hip hop MC’s and they went by the name FTH(Full Time Hustlaz). One of the members from the crew was Boi One-Da not to be confused with the producer affiliated with Drake, Boi One-Da is a very animated emcee who can really spit. Dude has a style that is his own and his stage presence is up there with the best of them. He has an EP entitled, “Short Notice” that will be dropping in the next few days. But right now check out his track, “NC Go-Go.”

This is a playful track that shows my ability, as an NC artist, to diversify my style where it will fit with any genre of hip hop. I just wanted to let the entire DMV area know that what they have going on musically is dope and how much I respect that go-go feel. The initial track was recorded by The Roots ft. Chrisette Michell and Wale, but I loved that sound that the Roots band put out so much that I couldn’t just skip over the beat and not hop on it. I just want to make that music that people enjoy listening to.
