The big homie Ant over at TheHipHopEffect.com is finally releasing his much anticipated mixtape “Girls I Gave My Heart To.” A tape that basically explains itself in the title has tracks from artists such as Hollywood FLOSS, AIME, Lerix, and your’s truly. I am eager to hear this tape not just because I am featured on it, but because I know Ant put a lot of work into this project. Ant drops some info after the jump.

So the site will be releasing it’s very own Valentines day mixtape, among the myriad of other projects dropping that day, titled Girls I Gave My Heart To. I had this idea since I first started blogging, like two years ago, and now it’s finally coming to fruition. I will be releasing a track on Saturday then the full thing Sunday [obviously]. I’m really proud of how it turned out and I hope you like it when it’s released. Take a look at the tracklist below.

After a number of delays and technical difficulties I am finally releasing my Promo Mixtape for my upcoming EP “The PreFace” entitled “The PRE PreFace”. This mixtape only contains two features and both are from my good friend Young Say who represents Winston Salem, NC. This project really isn’t designed to be a cohesive type of project. I just combined a few of my unreleased tracks with some joints I did for some blog mixtapes and some tracks that didn’t fit the direction of the PreFace. I designed the artwork myself and I think I did pretty damn good for my first attempt at album artwork…lol “Just Saying”….Well, anyways the tape is dropping on February 20th to coincide with my show at“The Loft @ Union Square” in High Point, NC. Look for “The PreFace EP” to drop in the upcoming months and it will be available for physical purchase on itunes, rhapsody, cd baby, etc….The tape features production from Boonie Mayfield, Klive Kraven, I.D. Labs and GroundWork Productions.

The Mixtape features my track “Midnight Martini” Produced by my dude Klive Kraven. The song basically discusses my love for drinking…lol(DON’T JUDGE ME) Some people deal with stress in different ways and sometimes I take a few shots and vent on tracks while dealing with mine. Enough with the intro….download this dope tape and make sure you visit Hailmegatron.net & 84area.com

Well, ladies and gentlemen, the day is finally here. The HIGHLY anticipated release of Rise Of The Fallen 2. I want to give a thank you to EVERYONE who sent in music, retweeted my posts on Twitter, and spread the word. The outreach to this has been amazing and I am so proud of this mixtape. Now, let me post my write-up and then talk some more.
The follow-up to the highly acclaimed two disc Rise Of The Fallen mixtape has arrived! Rise Of The Fallen 2: The Coronation Of King Starscream is a mixtape that everyone can vibe to. It consists completely of underground artists who feel they are kings in their own right and want to be noticed and have their music heard. Each one of these artists on this mixtape feels like they are their own Starscream and, just for one moment, they want to wear the crown at their coronation. Then, for one moment, they will be recognized and their music can be appreciated. The mixtape contains emotional tracks, lyrical tracks, exclusive tracks, and tracks that just make you feel these artists’ hard work through every bar, measure, and key signature.
This mixtape features music from Ca$hflow, Cameron Mackey, Starrz, J-Coop Da Great, K.E., The Black Rose, Kayla Bliss, L’Daialogue, Jones Andrews, Lerix, Sage Bravo, Y Fame, So The Kid, and many more!
2010 is the year of the Decepticon Movement. Decepticons will no longer suffer under Autobot oppression and we will shine in our own light, meaning the underground will not get outshined because of the mainstream. This mixtape is the first step in getting good, underground artists’ names out there and feed their starving appetite.
Also, in a week’s time, I will be releasing Rise Of The Fallen 2: Redux. Basically it is all the tracks that were sent to me but didn’t feel the vibe I was going for on Rise Of The Fallen 2 but I still think the world should hear. So next Tuesday, be on the lookout for that mixtape which should be another great addition to your music collection.
Now, with that said, there WILL be another mixtape dropped next Tuesday. I had a certain feel I wanted for ROTF2 and I wanted everyone to hear all the music I got in my inbox for the mixtape. I didn’t want to make this a two disc tape because I felt, for ROTF1, that it was too much at once. So it’s like two discs but not at once, if you want to look at it that way.
I’ve worked quite tediously on this tape to make it perfect for you, the audience, and to not shortchange the artists who submitted music for this project. It’s because of all of my supports and all of the fans, the artists, the followers on Twitter, the people who say this is the most creative blog they’ve seen, and everyone in between that I wanted to make it an incredible project. This will be a mixtape I will never forget about. So, hit the jump for the tracklist and download link.
The Decepticon Movement is now in full effect. 2010 is the year of the Decepticons. Let’s show them ALL who runs this.
SHOUTS TO MEGA FOR THE OPPORTUNITY!!!
